Digital platform expansion for Bonaire’s national lottery, including results management system, website integration, and mobile app with push notifications.
Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire (FWNB), the national lottery foundation of Bonaire, sought to expand its digital presence and improve communication with players. The objective was to modernize how winning results were managed, published, and distributed to the public.
The engagement evolved into a multi component platform combining website integration, internal tooling, and a mobile application to create a more reliable and scalable digital ecosystem.
Scope of Work
- Developed a custom WordPress plugin to automatically display verified winning numbers on the public website
- Designed and built an internal Results Management Web Application to create, update, validate, and publish draw results
- Implemented push notification capabilities to instantly notify mobile users of new results
- Built and deployed a cross platform mobile application for iOS and Android
- Implemented historical search functionality to allow users to retrieve past draw results
Outcome FWNB gained a centralized, controlled workflow for managing and publishing results, reducing manual processes and improving accuracy. Players received faster access to information through push notifications and mobile search capabilities.
This project demonstrates end to end platform delivery, combining CMS integration, internal system development, mobile application deployment, and real time communication infrastructure.
